Yo Jimbo (or anyone else who can help) this is Shane the score guy. With the quest for all of the BP music now complete, I'm still trying to quench my thirst for more. I could've sworn that i read awhile back about an original version of The Fleshtones "American Beat" from 1978 and also remixes of Torch Song's "Prepare To Energize"(or remixes of any other BP song for that matter). Does anyone have these or even know if they exist?

Yo Shane, Check your email. ..and yes, the original version of American Beat came out in 1978. The Fleshtones re-recorded it for the Bachelor Party soundtrack, and just to quench your thirst more - there's a music video to match! I thought I had the original version, but I think I've seen it aplenty on p2p programs. I'll let you know what I can find on this rarity. Oh, and there are more versions of Prepare to Energize - 2 or 3 more, I believe. The version in the film is believed to be from the ulta-rare 12" single. That, or it's a mix exclusive to the movie. I'm inclined to believe it's from the 12", because of the subtleties that can be heard, such as slightly different-sounding drums, and a couple of synth effects that I never heard on the album/Bonus Tracks version. 1002
