Here's the link for Google: www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurlJust do a search for "add url" on any search engine, and each one usually has a page that adds your site. I also signed my site up on some webrings, though I'm not sure how effective that was. I also posted on message boards, but they were ones I normally visited. I didn't want to spam just any message board with my website. Other than that, I didn't push too hard to promote the site, and I didn't spend any money to promote, either. Just add your site to the search engines, try a 'word-of-mouth' approach with friends and acquaintances on the web, and you should do fine. That's all I did, and over time, you'll see traffic gradually increase. One other thing that helped the Bachelor Party site - the interviews, and sending out a press release. When Bob Israel told me about a potential sequel in his interview, I went to www.prweb.com, donated a dollar, and posted a press release. I used key words like 'Tom Hanks', and the release got picked up by a lot of media outlets, including Yahoo, and a couple of good movie websites (Dark Horizons was one). It was good press for both the movie and the website. I saw a large spike in traffic after that press release. Something to consider. A little trivia bit for the BP Forum members - we have a large contingent of fans in..Argentina! Don't ask, but somehow this site ended up on a Spanish-only website, and the next thing you know, the BP site was being heavily linked to from an Argentenian website. I'm talking almost 300 hits a day for about a week. Crazy, eh? Just spread the word without spamming, and you'll see a good amount of traffic within six months. Hope this helps. Good to hear from you again, mate! Jim..I mean, 1002
