Hi,
Bachelor Party has been my favourite movie since I was a kid. Part of the reason is that the end of the film took place in my hometown of Simi Valley, CA at the local theater called the Mann 6. In the film it was called and decorated as the Mann 36 and both the interior and exterior were used (except for inside the individual theaters, which were viewing rooms at a studio).
This theater had been running since 1981 and had never really updated its look since the time of filming. The outside filmed scenes had empty lots where there are now buildings, but for the most part not much has changed. The theater fell on hard financial times in 2003 when it was turned into a $4 theater for older films to run. In January 2005 the theater finally closed its doors for the last time.
The building still remains without the Mann 6 sign in front anymore. I will take a few pictures before it is gone and try to post them on here as soon as I can.
