 I have just gotten the dvd of this movie and i laughed so bad, the first time i saw it i was 13 years old, best comedy ever, i was wondering do any of you guys think there should be a remake of this movie and who should be the cast?

Hi Collette!
Well, this is certainly a debatable topic. Do we mess with perfection, or do we update the film for a newer generation? Producer Bob Israel seems to believe the latter. The last time we spoke, he said he was in "serious discussions" in doing - not a remake - but a SEQUEL to Bachelor Party! I haven't heard any updates recently, but I'm curious to see what happens. I'll keep you posted.
In regards to a remake, my heart says no, I like the film as is, and a remake could taint the original. That being said, if a remake was in the works, I'd like to see Colin Hanks follow in his dad's footsteps and play Rick Gassko. To be honest, I don't know if Colin has a comedic bone in his body, but it would be a cool link to the past, eh?
I'll have to think about the rest of the cast and get back to you on that. One things for certain, NO Ashton Kutcher, NO Sean William Astin, and NO Jessica Simpson. For the record!

if BP2 is made then a DVD will be release with more features.

I could see the Frat Pack making this movie. Vince Vaughn, Owen/Luke Wilson, Ben Stiller, and WIll Farrell.
