Q: What does Beverly Hills Cop have in common with Bachelor Party?
A: Aside from a 1984 release, both films used the Los Angeles Biltmore for their hotel location. I popped in my Beverly Hills Cop DVD last night, and was pleasantly surprised to see Axel Foley walk into the familiar lobby of the 'Parkview Hotel', and there were many shots of the exterior on 6th Street as well (all the scenes where Taggart and Rosewood are parked outside the hotel). I never noticed that until last night. I don't believe it's been mentioned here before, has it?
With the right close-up, any street can be Beverly Hills!
