Hey everyone,
Can you hear the crickets yet? Yeah, it's been quiet lately, but I like to think of the site as being in 'cruise control' right now. No new interviews have surfaced, mainly because I'm busy in the music world at the moment (I'm writing/recording for an electronic-industrial band that's been around almost 17 years), and also because - well frankly - there's not much new to add.
*THE ALLEGED SEQUEL*
No new reports from producer Bob Israel. I fired off an email a while back, but the dude must be busy. I don't think I'm being brushed off - he has replied to me each time previous. Anyway, I know Bob will contact me if BP2 does in-fact happen. If we've learned anything from the movie business over the years, we know it's gotta be the right climate for it to happen.
The 'Image Of The Week'..uh, yeah, I haven't changed it in a while! I will update that shortly (and perhaps change the header to 'Random Image'..that way y'all can't call me out when I'm slacking).
Anyway, despite the near-silence and non-activity on this forum and the website lately, that doesn't mean I've lost interest in my favorite movie. I'm simply busy with other things in life right now, but when time permits, will definitely do what I can to keep the BP site fresh and alive. Updates *will* happen, just not as often as in, say, 2004 (the very successful 20th Anniversary). On a positive note, site traffic has been steady, and at times, phenomenal. We seem to have adopted a huge contingent of South American fans (did I mention this already?). Anyway, there are days where the website hits really spike. I'm proud to say that not a day goes by without a single hit (and no, I don't visit the site daily, he he).
I'm really proud with how Version 2 of the site has turned out, and very grateful to everyone who's contributed. A little advice - if you're a hardcore like I am, keep an open eye on eBay once in a while. There always seems to be something tasty and rare in the BP world. I've acquired some goodies myself, but have also passed on some select items. There's a lot more BP memorablilia out there than you might think.
Anyhoo, I hope all of you party animals are doing well. Any questions, suggestions, contributions, or music requests are always welcome, and I do reply promptly (I love BP emails, they're always an exciting addition to my Inbox).
Take care, and when something new and exciting happens, you will certainly be in the know.
