Tom Hanks called in to an NPR show called "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" this morning. When he was asked about the controversy surrounding The DaVinci Code, this was his reply: "Film is quite controversial at times, and quite frankly, I'm surprised the Vatican never banned Bachelor Party when it came out". The NPR hosts also joked around with Tom about Turner and Hooch, and mentioned some of his early work (Bosom Buddies, Mazes and Monsters).
