Absolutely terrific site for a great movie.
Anyone know of any links containing a sampling of wav files / soundbites from the movie ?
Thx,
Jay

Thanks for the kind words! I've searched several times for a sounds page, but no one seems to acknowledge BP anywhere. Have people gone mad?! There's so many good quotes from this film. Perhaps that is something I should consider adding to the website..after all it *is* the "Ultimate Tribute Website"! So, I might as well represent. A project for 2004, preferably before the 20th Anniversary arrives. As for the present, we appear to be out of luck for any movie wavs. Bummer dude. tenohtwo

Bummer indeed, but we look forward to seeing those wav files in the not too distant future though... Just out of interest, does anyone have Bachelor Party on DVD? I borrowed my mates copy, and actually thought the extras were quite good but did feel that that maybe they could have done a bit more. What do you all think?

I have the DVD, and have a few comments:
• The picture is outstanding. They did an excellent job in restoring the colors and clarity of the film.
• The sound is good, but they couldn't do much with it, as it was originally done in Dolby 4. No complaints, really.
• The extras are nice, but I would've like to have seen some outtakes, namely the first week of shooting with Paul Reiser and Kelly McGillis in the lead (before they got replaced). I'm guessing that Fox would've had to get permission from Reiser and McGillis, and I doubt that anyone who gets fired from a film would want their footage to show up on a DVD! Also, current interviews with cast members would've been cool, but I'm guessing that Fox didn't want to spend any money on this DVD project. It's unfortunate, seeing that BP grossed over $38 million in theatres, a respectable figure for 1984. In the end, we get extras that were made in 1984. Better than nothing!
• The cover - GASP! What FONT is that for the movie title? They could've easily recovered the original logo for the DVD, instead we get that cheesball-worse-than-Comic-Sans crap. It cheapens the cover, in my opinion. I am planning to re-design the DVD art, and make it available to board members in the near future. That'll be the latest freebie! Stay tuned.

When I bought my DVD player years ago, I ensured this was one of the very first DVDs I bought. It's a great DVD. The interviews with Tawny and Tom are cool. Man Tom looks young

Ooh one more thing (Columbo) The colours are superb. When I first put the DVD in to watch it, it strikes me how well made it was. It hasn't faded and the sound is pretty cool.
