Yeah, a weak Madonna reference. Dont' know why, must've been thinking about watching the "Lucky Star" video at age 13. Ahem, moving on...
So, I'm trying to track down the sole audio tracks of the minimal "incidental" score music heard in Bachelor Party, which was created by Tom Jenkins and Barry Schleifer. If anyone out there has some sort-of foot in the door at Fox, I'd be grateful for some help in tracking down the dusty reel of tape that contains said music.
Oh, I've tried myself, and to no avail, so I'm asking fellow Bachelor Party fans for any assistance possible. I'd like to create mp3s of the rare score music for use in a promotion of the film's 20th anniversary this June (2004).
So there ya go, that's the APB. Anyone with suggestions/assistance in this matter shall be worthy of knighthood (in the kingdom of Bachelor Party, that is).
Thanks, and keep drinking, the sun's not up yet. tenohtwo

Greetings,
Have you every plugged your name into Google to see what comes up? I did so a couple of minutes ago and was surprised (shocked!) to see my name come up in a discussion board of "Bachelor Party."
I am one of the co-composers of the main title and instrumental music in the picture. I seriously doubt that I have a copy of the music you're looking for (this goes way back to when I lived in L.A.; I now reside in Virginia). It's possible that Tom Jenkins might have a copy (I haven't had contact with him in about 15 years). His company name was Charted Course Productions and, at the time we were working together, we were working in Burbank on Olive. Of course, now that we're past the 20th anniversary of the film's release, it's probably a moot point.
With regard to the music itself, we created the main title theme (which ran about 6 or 7 minutes), the donkey scene (in the elevator, I believe), and the tension music when the guy was preparing his rifle.
Thanks for brightening my day.
Wishing you all the best, Barry Schleifer

Barry, Thanks for finding us, and saying hello! Amazing what Google will pull up, eh? I'm definitely still interested in the score, regardless that it's past June 29th. I will definitely be looking to get in touch with Tom Jenkins. It's a one-in-a-million shot, but I'll take the odds. Take care, and drop by again sometime (maybe have a look at the site, too?). Cheers, 1002 Webmaster, Bachelor Party Official Movie Website
