Ok, the board only allows for 8 options, so I went for the 8 most memorable scenes with music (in my mind). If you want to post a vote not listed, here are the remaining choices:
FLESHTONES - Hall of Fame (early in the party) TIMMY THOMAS - Gotta Give A Little Love (O'Neill tells Rick about Tracey) ANGEL & THE RERUNS - Nature Took Over (Brad jumps on the piano and dances) JOOLS HOLLAND - Crazy Over You (early in the party) R.E.M. - Wind Out (Cole shoots arrows at Room 1002) OINGO BOINGO - Bachelor Party (closing credits) DARLENE LOVE - Alley Oop (Chippendale's - Tina Gassko dancing) YIP YIP COYOTE - Dream Of The West (early in the party)
Ok, vote away...because you have nothing better to do...

Ok, I've cast the first vote, and yes, it's Oingo Boingo's "Who Do You Want To Be". Several reasons: first, I'm a big fan of 80's alternative music i.e. Depeche Mode, Smiths, Cure, Fixx, OMD, Boingo, New Order, etc. (so now you all know my musical tastes, eh). Whenever I hear the beginning of this song, I always envision Tawny Kitaen walking into Room 1002 in her hooker outfit.
In 1990, I saw Oingo Boingo here in Phoenix (my hometown), and they played a blistering 2:30 set that I'll never forget. Two personal highlights that night - Danny Elfman firing away on the xylophone to "Grey Matter", and the band performing a blazing version of "Who Do You Want To Be", to which I commenced performing 'the Alligator' on the lawn of Desert Sky Pavillion. I like a lot of songs from this film, but Boingo has to get top honors from me.
Ok, now that I've exposed myself, who's next?!

This is impossible Jim, as I liked so many of them!!
I had to vote for Dance Hall Days by Wang Chung. BUT, since I got the soundtracks it got run pretty close by:
Oingo Boingo - Something Isn't Right Timmy Thomas - Gotta Give A Little Love Darlene Love - Alley Oop Torch Song - Prepare To Energise
In truth though, I love ALL of the tracks even Zmeddy's little cameo ;D

I love 80's New Wave as well, and Oingo Boingo is definately what i would normally pick, but Something Isnt Right I probably liked the most, but out of those Poll choices I had to go with Angel &TheReruns, iv always loved that part of the movie, and the music is just great... but their song Nature Took Over really blows me away too.

Hmm, sounds like you're asking about "Dance Hall Days" by Wang Chung. Here are the lyrics:
Take your baby by the hand And make her do a high hand stand Take your baby by the heel And do the next thing that you feel
Chorus: We were so in phase In our dance hall days We were cool on craze When i, you, and everyone we knew Could believe, do, and share in what was true Oh, I said
Take your baby by the hair And pull her close and there there there Take your baby by the ears And play upon her darkest fears
Repeat chorus
So take your baby by the wrist And in her mouth an amethyst And in her eyes two sapphires blue And you need her and she needs you And you need her and she needs you
Repeat chorus...
Hope this helps! 1002

I spoke to two of the band members about a year-and-a-half ago. Singer Hilary Carlip (Angel) has been very busy (and successful) with multiple projects over the years. Take a look at her cool website, and see what she's been up to: www.hillarycarlip.com/Keyboard player Miriam Cutler (one of the Reruns) is also having a successful career with her own production company, and scoring music for movies and television. Her site is here: www.miriamcutler.comCheers, 1002
