I would love to find out how I can get a copy of the bonus tracks EP. I have been searching for Hall Of Fame and Prepare to Energize forever. I love the site. Bachelor Party is one of the funniest movies ever. Keep up the great work.

hi tenohtwo , I am thrilled to see this website. I was "google..ing" for "prepare to energize" and I am glad to hear of this EP. I bought the soundtrack LP but this song was not there. I am going to email you right after this and if you could send me a copy of the CD, it is much appreciated!!  |

Whoa this site rules ! Man i'm dying to get prepare to energize if it's that original version. I have a remix which isn't half as good. The vinyl is going for about 50 quid which is a bit steep. I would love a copy if you still have any. I'd gladly pay. Thanks for the site. This classic deserves it.

Just so you all know - the Bonus Tracks EP is on hiatus, but will be back in new form soon. There has been some controversy as-of-late regarding a few of the songs which are 'technically' still available on CD (I was notified via email). I'm in this to distribute this EP LEGALLY - believe me, I'm here to support the film and everyone/thing that has to do with it. I've never capitalized financially by anything I've done on the BP website.
The songs in question are "Dance Hall Days" by Wang Chung, "Who Do You Want To Be" by Oingo Boingo, and "Rehumanize Yourself " by The Police. These are tracks which are excluded from the original soundtrack (read the Soundtrack page on the website to see why), but are an essential part of the film. I was about to add Mozart's "Eine Kleine Nachtmuzik" as an 8th track, and design all new arttwork. It 's going from EP to a second LP soundtrack.
In all honesty, it wasn't any record company or lawyer bugging me, but a fan who wanted me to email some songs that are now available on the re-issued CD. I couldn't be a hypocrite about the whole situation, so I pulled the plug on everything. BUT..
Give me a month or so, and I will look into a giveaway of a new-and-improved bonus CD. You've all seen it in the record store -"More Music From.." It'll be something along those lines, but the way I see it, if I give one or two away in a contest of sorts, without any sort of profit, the Bonus Tracks EP shall live again. I'll probably call it the Bonus Tracks LP, since the smallest albums out there tend to be 8 songs, and that's what I'll have.
I know that people have asked about the instrumental music that plays during the opening credits, but that music is probably collecting dust on a reel in a dark room somewhere in Hollywood. Believe me, I'd LOVE to get my hands on that title theme for the bonus disc. But that is almost as likely as getting a Tom Hanks interview for the website. For a 20-year-old movie, I'm feeling fortunate enough at this stage!
