www.bachelorpartymovie.com is offering a 7-song compilation on CD-R to members of the Bachelor Party message board. These 7 songs are heard in the film but do not appear on the IRS and Superfecta soundtracks. As of 9-14-03, 6 of the seven songs have been obtained. There is one elusive track to acquire before the compilation is complete and ready to produce/ship. Here is the track listing for the Bachelor Party Bonus Tracks EP: 01. WANG CHUNG - Dance Hall Days 02. THE POLICE - Rehumanize Yourself 03. THE FLESHTONES - Hall Of Fame 04. TIMMY THOMAS - Gotta Give A Little Love 05. TORCH SONG - Prepare To Energize 06. OINGO BOINGO - Who Do You Want To Be 07. ANGEL & THE RERUNS - Nature Took Over Tracks 1-6 are complete - I am still trying to obtain an mp3 of at least 128 kbps of ANGEL & THE RERUNS "Nature Took Over" (the song that plays while Brad jumps onto a grand piano and begins dancing). Please register on the message board, and you will become eligible for a FREE COPY, complete with new artwork. This compilation can be traded for, but cannot be sold, due to copyright restrictions. And update will be posted as soon as the compilation is complete and ready-to-go! tenohtwo

Excellent! Thanks for posting. I guess I should post this update: Miriam Cutler, who was the keyboard/piano player in Angel & The Reruns (in the film and real life) is sending me a CD of "Nature Took Over", the elusive Reruns track. I'm hoping to see it really soon, but she is a very busy person these days, composing soundtracks for TV and movies. She's unsure of the quality of the song, since it's from an old cassette, but considering it's never been released, I will take what I can get! I'll post another update as soon as the song arrives.

I received a very pleasant email today from Miriam Cutler, formerly of Angel & The Reruns. It contained an mp3 of Nature Took Over, so the EP is now ready to go! I am going to do a little cleanup on the audio tonight, as the source was a cassette tape.
For those of you who want a copy of the Bonus Tracks EP, I'll need your shipping address. You can email me at tenohtwo@yahoo.com with the details. Remember, you must be a member to be eligible for a copy, so please sign up, if you haven't already.
I will plan to ship the CD at the beginning of next week. I need a couple of days to make some audio adjustments to Nature Took Over, and print out the art, then I can finish the CDs and send them off.
This collection is too cool for school!

Just wanted to give an update on the CD. I've been working on the audio for "Nature Took Over", and am still not satisfied with the final results! The problem is that the original file has almost no hi-frequencies, so when I bring in the hi's, I also bring in a substantial amount of tape hiss. I'm getting there! I want it to be as listenable as possible. Most of the audio is quite clean, actually, it's just a matter of removing some noise.
I tried really hard to track down this song, and because it was never commercially released, only Miriam Cutler and I possess a copy of this song (from cassette tape). The master copy is on a reel collecting dust in a vault at Fox Music, the only contact that didn't entertain my request.
I will say that the guys at the Fleshtones website are very cool, and were very helpful in providing me a perfect mp3 of "Hall of Fame", another impossible song to find.
Thanks to those who have sent me your addresses, and are patiently waiting for this truly unique gift.

Great site you have here tenohtwo, and I was pleased to see you stop by www.80sxchange.com to introduce yourself! I was probably one of the first people to get the new cd soundtrack in the UK shipped over, and needless to say it was brilliant. But, it's always been a bit of a mystery why so many other great tunes were left off the original - Wang Chung being just one example of this. Great also that you've had such a good response in your quest for this missing music! Keep up the great work!

The song is "Prepare To Energize", performed by Torch Song (Torch Song is basically William Orbit, who among many other things, produced Madonna's "Ray Of Light" LP a couple years back).
It's a hard-to-find song, though you might find an mp3 of it on a file-sharing server like Soulseek. The version in the film is a remix, which I have yet to find in any format, but I got a real close version off of a CD titled "IRS Greatest Hips Vol. 4". If you want the song, sign up on the message board, and it's yours!
